very cold but beautiful along the Maine coast

 in our snow laden rhododendron.

A Cold Morning

Frost to Sunshine

Frost has been outlining the leaves in the early
morning...

while sunshine has been glowing through the colorful
crocuses during the day.

Blue Sky

After many days of clouds and snow,
yesterday the sun
returned with blue blue skies...

...still cold!

Early this morning I was amazed at how
beautifully the hard frost had
transformed the yard and the things in it!

This is the latch to the vegetable garden gate,
resembles a little fuzzy critter!

Chance of Frost

Tonight is clear and cold and
could perhaps be the first frost!
Oh no! Our vegetable garden is in danger.
