Sunday's Findings

It's nice to find a rose still blooming in the garden
to bring indoors.

Finding potatoes in a basket on the
front steps that D dug up in the garden.

Taking a walk on the beach and finding the
signs of autumn in the sand...

It's the little things that make one's day...

Little signs of autumn are appearing here and
there in our yard...

Collecting and Painting Autumn Leaves

Every time I walk along our path from the studio
my eye catches the beautiful colors of fallen autumn
leaves... they were calling out to me to be painted!

Evening Walk Along the Beach

Tonight the sun was hidden by a blanket of clouds...

signs of autumn washed up in the wet sand...

along with treasured angel wings ...

I find such beauty in the dried leaves in the garden.

Ten Ten

Ten Ten is special to us...
by serendipity
we were married at 10:10 am.
on October 10th, (the tenth month and day)
so it was at 10:10 on 10/10,
many years ago!

By chance, my parents had met for the very
first time on October 10th, sixty-six years ago.

Today is my sister-in-laws birthday
and also the birthday of a good friend we
had met in our gallery.

Looks like a nice Fall day and
I'll be collecting some autumn leaves!

It's evening now and I'm reflecting on our afternoon...
a beautiful walk down a trail at Biddeford Pool that
led to the ocean with a view of a lighthouse.
