Before Winter

D has been digging potatoes and here's the purple
potatoes.



Under the straw he came upon a
single apple.

A little critter must have hidden it there for
safe keeping.

So much work to do on the house...
sanding and painting.

and digging more potatoes....

I was struck by this single leaf sitting on the
front steps...

and the shells on a little shelf at the front door
as a constant reminder of the beach even when
the winter snow is upon us.

More Snow....

The path to the studio now feels like it is
between two mountains!

The disabled old Volvo has totally disappeared!
It is under the mountain of snow to the right of
the house...
