Monday's Findings

While meandering through our
yard on a partly cloudy Monday afternoon
I came upon

the apples turning golden russet...

the last of the tomatoes lined up on the garden fence...

the delicate dandelion seed head....

a rose still clinging to the vine...

whirlygigs...

soft feathery milkweed...

and a beautiful shade of pink hydrangea...

it all warms the heart...

The Aster and Milkweed

Every time I walk to and from my studio,
this little aster catches my attention...
it is very delicate yet strong, for it
has weathered the coldest temperatures
and winds and yet remains beside the
milkweed in all of its' beauty!
