Another Snowfall

Snow gently fell throughout the morning,
another day in Connecticut.
Being snowed in, I spent the afternoon
watching an old movie with my parents and
doing some drawing.

Gentle Snow

...snow gently fell in the late afternoon.

Early Sunday morning I peeked out of the
window as the streetlight cast a glow and
a single bird visited the bird feeder.

Light Snow Tonight

Looking through the window this evening,
reveals snow lightly falling in the glow of the streetlight.
We could be in for a messy day tomorrow, snow and
freezing rain. I'm still in Connecticut.
Will be continued....

Here it is Wednesday late afternoon...just a dusting of

snow and trees are coated with ice, all is slippery

in Connecticut.

Tools of the Trade

My brother stopped by  my parents

 house to do some fix-it-up things for

them and he brought his tote bag 

of tools. 

I set my tote bag of my trade down

besides his and the contrast made

me smile. I couldn't even lift his!

First Day of 2009

D sent me this photo...while I'm in Connecticut,
he's back in Maine. To raise money
for charity this morning, brave folks
took a dip in the ocean, the air temperature
was about 9 degrees. D missed the big event
and by the time he arrived by most had left.
There were a few folks still there and you can
see someone running out the ocean!
