Winter Lemons

Here we are surrounded by deep snow

and inside one of our lemon trees

has given us a large lemon!

Also, a cutting from a geranium

that is rooting in a cup of water

has blossomed!

Small delights on a winter's day.

A Tour After the Storm

Here is a little tour on Sunday of

 Dock Square and the Lower Village

after the amazing snowfall of the weekend.

Shoveling Out

Wow, there was so much snow that fell 

overnight

from this enormous blizzard.

 

D did most of the tough spots.

Some of the drifts were up to my shoulders.

 

 

 

The plow added to the height and I thought we would

never dig out!

 

 

I worked on trying to shovel a path

to my studio.

 

I gave up here!

Exhausted!

Storm Update

We ventured out in the late afternoon
along the Kennebunkport coast....

and through Dock Square....

heading home...

Tonight I can hear the wind howling through my window.
The majority of the snow may reach us overnight.
We shall see what the morning brings.

Nor'easter

Snow is falling as we head into a Nor'easter this

weekend.

Purple Potatoes

Here's the last of our fall harvest of purple potatoes...

am amazed they kept until February.

 

They are so beautiful that I was reluctant to cook them!
