Ten Ten

October 10th is a special day

and here we are on the Marginal Way!

 

 

 

 A rare sea bird in our area caught our eye...

a gannet!

 

 

Cormorants were gathered on a rock....

a beautiful day for an anniversary and a first birthday

for a niece!

Catching Up

The summer flew by with rain and heat and humidity

and here we are with autumn weather....

Apples are falling from the wolf river tree...

a few roses still bloom...

a faint rainbow added magic...



 

dramatic clouds moved in....

soft dreamy sunsets alternate with

clear crisp evening sunsets...

and the moon is getting fuller.

August Moon

The beautiful August moon rose last night over 

the ocean...

It peeked through the shops in Dock Square...

Dreamy

Early yesterday evening we took a beautiful walk

at a beach north of us.

The steamy humid air from the day changed

into comfortable temperatures with a lovely breeze.

We walked down the long wooden path leading to 

the beach through tall beach grass.

The water was warm as we walked along the edge...

 

Found sanddollars...

Was such  a dreamy evening!

Summer

It's been a hot humid summer.

Happiest when it is foggy!

Thistle is blooming along the coast.

The lilies started blooming in our garden

and are so lovely.

 

The squash in this basket has been sitting in my

studio since last autumn.

They are still looking fine on the outside

but I can't imagine they

have any flavor 

so today they were released to the 

wild part of the yard for the critters to find!
