Snow, Ice, Craft Fair and Rain

Last night we set up my display for the Prelude Craft Fair

in Kennebunkport for today.

Got up early to check the weather….

a small amount of snow is covering the ground

and ice sparkles on the trees.

It is supposed to warm up and turn to rain.

We have a little bit of everything.

First Snow

Snow fell lightly all day...

quiet and magical.

 

 

 

A Surprise

A spur of the moment ride this afternoon to see

what the ocean looked like...there were rain clouds

over the horizon.

Love the autumn colors.

The full moon resembled a very large pumpkin tonight.

Reflections of September

September brought beautiful sunsets...

and some fog...

vivid autumn colors...

September Eve

 

The moon rose around 6 pm., very pale in the sky

but very beautiful.

Easy to miss, so look closely.

 

Watching sea birds fly to their island as the sunsets.

A lovely September evening.

The Last Few Days of August

August was fleeting and had a feeling of autumn

in the air.

 

 

The marsh has signs of autumn.

The last day of August actually felt more like summer,

 humid but a nice breeze

near the ocean.

What better thing to do than have french fries

while sitting on a bench as gulls fly by 

with the lighthouse in the

distance.
