Apple Blossoms

The apple blossoms are in their glory and the view

from my window makes me feel as though I am

in an apple blossom tree-house.

Such a beautiful spring!

Waiting for the Moon

While waiting for the full moon to rise last night

we saw this

 

chevron fly by.

 

For some time it hid behind a low cloud bank

and finally I saw a hint of pink

and then the brilliant glow...

 

So beautiful!

Magic Light

 

 

A fleeting moment in the early evening sky tonight,

magic light and  a rainbow...

 

breathtaking!

 

Beach Heart

Tonight on the beach I spotted a perfect

heart that the sea left behind.

Magical!

Signs of Spring...

finding a cluster of crocuses gathered around a tree...

being able to sit on a bench overlooking the ocean

without freezing!

noticing songbirds have returned to the road along

the coast...you can hear their songs and see couples

sitting on rooftops.

The silence and solitude of winter is now behind us.

Trees

Such a blustery cold spring day with even some

snow flurries.

Instead of fighting against the fierce wind along the coast

we walked around the streets of the village...

still cold but sheltered from the strongest wind gusts.

I love the tree branches as the reach for the sky.

Sunday Delight

Surprise...the snowdrops are blooming in a patch

of snow in our garden.

We took a lovely walk along the Marginal Way

in Ogunquit this afternoon as many others

were out also enjoying the walk and majestic views.

The greatest surprise was to discover these amazing

Harlequin ducks along the way.

Though the Harbor Candy Shop was closed

we couldn't resist peeking in the window!
