Marginal Way

A change of scenery tonight as we approached
the Marginal Way in Ogunquit.

Always so uplifting to walk along it's path
on cliffs overlooking the ocean.

Spotted a single daffodil in bloom.

As the sky darkened a small light in the lighthouse
appeared.

Is It Spring or Summer?

Crocuses, scilla and snowdrops have bloomed this week
and the Cornelian cherry trees are flowering.
This is about a month early for our location in Maine.

The temperature was around 80 degrees...
so summery...where is spring?

Children could be seen at the beach
in bathing suits in March!

Have you had unseasonably warm temperatures
recently?

So Early

It's just March 12th and the first yellow crocus
bloomed here in our yard in Maine...so early
for this and the honeybees appeared today, too!

So Clear

so very clear, calm and peaceful tonight
as the sun set there were
pink contrails...

Sign of Spring

Such a beautiful and dramatic sky
at the beach...

and in our yard is the first sign of spring though
it is still winter...the witch hazel is blooming
in the snow.

Winter Arrived

Well, at last winter has arrived here in Maine...
