Sunday Delight

Surprise...the snowdrops are blooming in a patch

of snow in our garden.

We took a lovely walk along the Marginal Way

in Ogunquit this afternoon as many others

were out also enjoying the walk and majestic views.

The greatest surprise was to discover these amazing

Harlequin ducks along the way.

Had never seen anything like them before!

Though the Harbor Candy Shop was closed

we couldn't resist peeking in the window!

A Little of Everything

Several days ago I noticed the daffodil reeds poking up 

around the apple tree...

a little while later I heard a tapping on the window....

 

 

looked like hail, sleet, snow and rain...

fast and furious and then it was gone.

The sun appeared through dark clouds.

In the early evening the sky was so dramatic.

The green in the rocks reminded me of spring!

Snowing Again

Snowed all day and now it is continuing into the night...

after shoveling out in the late afternoon

we visited the ocean for a look at the surf and 

sea birds...

To our great surprise, one wave was extra strong

and came right through D's window!

 

To think spring is officially here tomorrow!

Rearranging

Been busy rearranging and trying to organize

things in my studio and home.

Takes much time but is rewarding to see 

things in a new light!

Happy Birthday T

Today is my nephew's birthday and we hope 

he has a wonderful day!

Here in Maine to our surprise when we drove 

by the beach we couldn't believe the size of the waves.
