So clear today...late afternoon at the beach.

Today the colors in the sky and the coastal flora

were so inspiring...

thankful to be so near such a special place.

yesterday was a mysterious day with fog and sun...

the fog kept moving in and out.

It Snowed Today!

winter returned to Maine for a day in spring....

First Day of Spring

Amazing clouds and much colder…

Much of the winter

felt almost like spring 

and today feels more like a Maine winter

now that it is officially spring.

Peaceful

so quiet and peaceful enveloped 

by a pink sunset…

spring is in the air.

After the Storm

Snow glistened and shadows fell

early this morning as the sun rose

after the storm yesterday.

There was evidence at the beach that the ocean was

wild from the storm for there had been many rocks 

thrown into the road from the waves.

By the time we arrived at sunset the roads were 

mostly cleared.

New Snow

Been some time since it snowed…it was beginning to feel 

like spring in February in Maine until Friday.

Snow fell all day enveloping everything in

a soft blanket of snow creating a

winter wonderland.
So quiet and so beautiful.

Saturday the sun appeared.

Crisp and clear….

Snow today

So beautiful and magical!

We had ice over night before  the snow.
When the
sun appeared at the end of the day
the tips of the trees sparkled.

A late afternoon ride to the ocean….

The beach grass was encased in ice.

The sky was a beautiful shade of blue with puffy clouds.

A blanket of snow had covered the rooftops of the grand
cottages along the coast.

Twilight…

Home again and there was a beautiful
 ring around the moon.
