Was still dark as I opened the front door
very early this morning to be greeted with
fresh snow that had softly fallen overnight.
The sky lightened with a ring around the moon!
Into my studio with snowy boots to finish
packing for "Breakfast with An Artist"
at the Nonantum Hotel.

We haven't seen anything more than a light flurry, yet, which is unusual for Michigan. My son is anxious for the snow (he skis), while the rest of us are content without it. As soon as the holidays are over, I'll be ready for spring!!

I usually love to see the snow, it's beautiful and peaceful but this year we are not ready for snow this early, too many things that still need to be done outside before the ground freezes! It could snow again on Weds. but am hoping it will be rain on the coast to give us a chance to finish up some work around the house.
