Old Port Playhouse Gallery

It was one week ago, I was in the midst of preparing
for a weekend of craft fairs for the Christmas Prelude in
Kennebunkport, when the phone rang.
It was the director of the Old Port Playhouse
( which opened in October) in Portland, Maine
and he was looking for an artist to
show in their art gallery during the run of "A Christmas Carol"
that started that night!
The artist scheduled had unexpectedly
canceled. I decided to go for it and scrambled to
put together a show which D and I brought to Portland
very early the next morning.
When we arrived at the door, we were greeted by a gentle
Victorian Bulldog. His name turned out to be "Cooper"!
Hmmmm, I thought that must be a good sign for we share
the same name!

It was a lovely intimate space and everything just fit!

The whole experience had a very magical feeling
and the Old Port Playhouse is wonderful.
Have a look at their website by clicking on their name above.
It is located at 19 Temple Street, Portland, Maine.

My art show will be there through December 20th.

I'm so thankful that Michael called me!

What a handsome bulldog, love his face. Congratulations on being chosen to have your paintings hung
at the Playhouse. It seems like a wonderful opportunity.
