This evening I paused to take in the sight
of the last of the beach roses
growing out of the rocks
overlooking the sea.
Though it's leaves were dried up
and brown a few blossoms still
managed to display
a pink glow.

Just a bit further down a couple sat on the
rocks overlooking Spouting Rock which
happened to be spouting!
Autumn is closing in....

I know that fall can be beautiful, but I hate to lose summer. It seems so long to wait for it to come back.

Just when we thought the cold autumn weather was here to stay, summer seems to have returned with hot humid air!
