It's been a hot humid summer here in southern Maine.
This weather slows me down!
The gardens are flourishing though they could use
some rain.
There's a chance of a thunderstorm
later today.
D planted peas last month that the
baby woodchucks immediately ate.
D thought that was the end of the peas
and was quite upset.
What a surprise to see them flourishing.
Well, by eating the tops the woodchucks had
actually made them bush out.
Unfortunately there are 3 different
varieties that have all tangled.
It is difficult to pick them and
figure out what they are!
A learning experience!
The leek flowers are very beautiful!
We try to walk in the evening when it is cooler.
There have been some unusual sunsets!
Hope you are having a good summer and the
weather isn't too oppressive.

we live in a place that is near perfect weatherwise, feeling guilty saying that! santa barbara has a mediterranian climate that stays around 70 degrees over 300 days of the year. (i hope i have my facts right, but it is nice all the time!)
Hi Lori,
Thanks! We did get some rain and today it is less humid and cooler.
Your climate sounds perfect!
