The snow is swirling around our
home as we experience the blizzard
today.
Josie May is curious as she gazes from
a window…
We are feeding the birds but the ground feeders are
having difficulty as the birdseeds disappear into the
deep and drifting snow.
I put some bird seed on a piece of cardboard and that
seems to help a little.
PS.
Now it is evening and the wind still swirls and gusts
and snow is in the air.
We have a tremendous amount of shoveling to do
tomorrow.

Such lovely, quiet photos. Yes, it was quite a storm. Glad you stayed inside, as I did. Good idea about putting birdseed on cardboard…
Hope you will take it easy with shoveling today, Nan.
Hi Judy,
I hope you didn't get overwhelmed by this storm.
We had about 5 feet of snow along the ridge of the driveway where it meets the street. Shoveling a little at a time.
Take good care.
Wow, you certainly got a lot of snow. Even so, that last picture of it is beautiful.
Beautiful pictures. Living now in California, we rarely experience snow, but I can remember my English childhood and waking up to that strange light in the bedroom which was the clue that snow had fallen. Everything looks magical under that first fall of untouched snow. Keep cosy!
Oldcrow, we are now expecting more snow on Monday…oh no, where will be put it!
Lynn, thanks so much for your comment and your beautiful childhood memory snow and the magical feeling of it.
