The snow from the blizzard on Tuesday
has taken days for us to clear….
this was our deck on Thursday.
Friday brought 4 or 5 more inches of snow which seemed
manageable and was very beautiful as we took a ride
by the ocean and through town.
Tomorrow could bring 8 to 12 more inches of snow
and the snow banks are already very tall…

Do you have a snowblower? Hope you are not having to hand shovel everything. Great photos as usual.
Oh Judy we don't have a snowblower so D and I are shoveling by hand. I haven't gone out yet…really cold but D has. He shoveled once but there will be more for it's not over til late tonight.

Gorgeous photographs of such deep snow. I cannot imagine how life adapts to such an event as opening the porch door to find it blocked like that. As you mention taking a ride through town, I assume that Maine is set up for snowfall and the roads are ploughed.

We actually had more snow overnight and it looks so magical…The town snowplows do a good job on the roads, sometimes the main roads are better cleared than the side roads. It depends on the kind of storm.
It's shoveling out of our driveway that is most hard to keep up with this winter.
