Saturday At Pine Point

Late Saturday afternoon we found ourselves
a parking spot in Pine Point, the fog had rolled
in and it was nice and cool!

It brought back many memories of my childhood
when I used to take many walks to Pine Point.

Prout's Neck was barely visible through the fog...
(that is where Winslow Homer painted)

I still have a painting I made of
Prout's Neck when I was a child
at my Grandparent's cottage...
special memories!

Is that your childhood painting Nan? it's wonderful!
Now your home looks like ours with the fog! We have had a couple late afternoons of sun lately, so nice.

Thank you Erin!

Lori ann,
That is a painting I did at my grandparent's cottage when I was a child...
we still are having hot humid weather...there was one day when it was so comfortable but it didn't last long enough!
Hope your weather improves!

Your talent definitely showed itself early, Nan...that's a lovely painting. I like how you caught the breakers!

Hi quiltcat, thanks! I always loved to draw and paint and I can remember the feeling I had being in Maine at the cottage!
