More About Working Artists Show

The Exhibit at the Kennebunk Library for the
month of July is called
"Working Artists" and is organized by some
of the artists in
the Maine Illustrators' Collective.

There's more info on my blog 2 posts down and here's a link to more about it
over at the Maine Illustrators' Collective:
http://mecollective.blogspot.com/2009/06/not-your-usual-art-show.html

Below is one of the two paintings I will be exhibiting.
This triptych was inspired by the memory of
the lighthouse keeper and his connection to a special
book project I've been working on for
the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust.

I love the painting. How is your book coming? It must be exciting to be involved in a project like that.

That's just cool ...

I need to buy one of your drawings or have you do one of my gang ...

Marnie,
Thanks! My illustrations for the book are done but D is doing some computer editing on it and then it will go back to J who put it all together in the first place to see if she needs to do anything with it and she will give it to the author. The author will be figuring out how to publish it. I sure hope we can get it done for the summer season!

JC,
Thanks so much! I very much appreciate your interest in my art. Your family of pets are wonderful and I've been enjoying seeing and reading about them all!
If you have any questions about pet portraits or anything you can always e-mail me at
shellsandroses(at)gmail(dot)com or at the e-mail address in my website mainememories.com. In the paintings of pets section of my mainememories.com website is some info and samples.
Also, there are links on the sidebars of my blogs!
Thanks again!
