
This morning (Sunday) at the high tide,
the heavy rains of yesterday had subsided but
the surf was still raging...

So many surfers took to the sea...like penguins...

I was happy to make it back to the beach before
the light faded this evening...

much foam mixed with seaweed and oak leaves.

I stayed for a year in Exeter, unfortunately did not visit Maine though my boarding school roomie came from Maine and told me all about it...I just love the New England scenery though and the quiet country towns were wonderful too...
