D sent me these photos today...
he's home in Maine and experienced
a wild windy rain storm the past few days.
Today the sun did return but the damage
remains... no power.
The handicap ramp to the beach was
torn apart as you can see above.
The rain had washed away all of the snow in our yard and
our witch hazel is blooming.
Signs of spring...
I'm down here in Connecticut where it's snowing!

Oh that weather sounds scary. I do hope you are all safe there.
Were you able to save the refrigerator food?
We have a new storm here, with flood and mudslide warnings. Some homes are in danger at the shore too. :(
take good care Nan,

Hi Lori ann,
All is well now back at the homefront...some of the food was saved, D said he ate all of the ice cream in the freezer for it had turned to liquid.
My brother who lives in Conn. and works for the Power Company was called out to New Hampshire where they had 243,000 outages. Hope he gets home soon but he doesn't have any idea how long he will be there.
Now I'm worried about you,
hopefully you will not be affected by the tsunami from the earthquake in Chile. Take good care!
