Today the air was calm and the temperatures
on the mild side but the sea was a different story.

I followed a yellow butterfly as it clung
to wild radish flowers as the sea
roared around it.

in between big swells that crashed
upon the rocky coast.
A mist settled over Mt. Agamenticus
as the sun began to set.

Hi Kim,
Thanks so much for your comments on both blogs!
We live a few miles from the ocean. (It's within bicycle distance) Before we know it, winter could be upon us. I especially love it when it is snowing on the coast. There is something very quiet, peaceful and beautiful about winter that I love to paint.
