I love your official title and unofficial title for her...my sister and i did the same thing for my mother. It's been a year and a half since my mother passed away and i still think about her every day. I had brunch with my father yesterday and he said wistfully how much she would have liked the retirement community where he is living now, so he thinks about her constantly, too. The love remains and glows in our memories...the pain of loss gets a bit less sharp as time goes on.

After a while you will keep the lovely memories and the breaking of your heart as she had to pass will subside. Please be not ashamed to put her in watercolor tears. You are on your own now.
