How in the world do you keep your sunflowers so straight. All most all of mine have fallen or are tilting way over. I wanted to leave them up for the finches but they are falling all over other plants.
I drove by a garden the other day that had sunflowers at least nine feet tall standing up straight like yours. I almost jumped out of the car to ask the gardener how he did that.
Hope you and the kitties have a lovely weekend. Marnie
Hi Marnie, The secret to the sunflowers standing so tall and straight is that D staked them! The hummingbird was there again today....have a wonderful weekend!
I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.
