The surf is so pretty when it's rough like that. I have to admit, I'm a little afraid of it. I was knocked down and pinned to the bottom by rough waves several years ago. I was only about 15 feet from shore, but no one could see me struggling under the water and I came pretty close to drowning. I still love the ocean, but I'll only venture past knee deep if it's very calm.

Wow, That is so scary...the ocean is so powerful. Calm waters are best!
