Is It a Mountain or a Cloud?

Today was a strange day if one looked at the sky.
The early morning was clear blue, mid-day thick
gray clouds filled the sky.
While returning from errands late this afternoon
the sky seemed to clear again overhead but as
we drove along, the horizon appeared to have
mountains where none existed.
(almost felt like we were in New Hampshire)

It was amazing to see and was still there
when we drove by the beach.

If you would like to see more photos, just click here.

Thanks and I hope you enjoyed the beautiful sky tonight!

Lori ann and kary,
So happy that you both stopped by and it's a small world that you live near each other and have the same kind of dogs! I am so happy to have met both of you through the magic of blogs!

Don't you love the optical illusions the clouds make? If you hadn't told me, I would have sworn those were mountains in the distance!
