hi quiltcat, how interesting you should mention that, D told me he thinks the wasps have eaten the apple worms so we may actually have some pest free apples this year on that particular tree.
I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.

I wonder if the wasps helped pollinate the apples or if they're eating any of the apple pests.

Ohmigosh! Despite loving the wonderful work wasps do, I find this seriously creepy! Like the Mummy meets the Wasp! Great pictures though :)

Amazing and scary at the same time!
