I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.

i'm sure it's an optical illusion, but it looks like you could walk right over there. The picture of the plovers is lovely!
hi quiltcat,
actually, you can walk out to the island at low tide...while we were there we saw 2 young guys doing just that!
I'd love to spend an afternoon exploring the island.
What a huge wasp nest in your apple tree. Did they build that in one summer? Going to be kind of dangerous picking apples.

What pretty little birds, and that island looks so secret and special :)
Thanks for dropping by, it's good to be home now :)
