I find shells to be endlessly fascinating. So delicate, yet so strong that they survive the pounding surf. I love to have my favorites on display around the house. I missed them when I put them away for Christmas decorating.

The orchid is lovely. I've never grown one myself, but I would like to.

Kary,
thanks so much for visiting!

Willoughby,
Shells are so beautiful...so many shapes and subtle colors and a home to many mollusks!
We have several orchids that people gave to my husband, they couldn't take care of them or they were about to throw them out. He has a green thumb and the orchids have thrived under his care...they are so incredible and so lovely to have blooming in the winter! I hope you try growing one or two...
