Hi pg, thanks so much for stopping by...that paint set in the photo with Ellie May really does have many colors but actually I tend to use some other paints with it, some semi-moist, some tubes...I tend to have many paints around me...and I save everything for I have some really old paint sets that I still love. You never know when you'll come across colors that really work with what you're trying to express. thanks again!
Hi Nan. Thanks for stopping by my blog and inviting me to yours. I've been wandering around here in delight for quite a while, looking at your beautiful drawings, paintings, and photographs. My Louie looks similar to Ellie May...a delightfully plump black and white cat with a mask (although his is only over one eye)...who loves to supervise.
I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.

Sweet room, sweet cat. :) I notice you use dry block paints; I use wet tubes myself. You get a lot of colours in your box though!

Beautiful pictures nan :) I use both dry blocks of paint and tubes of watercolour paints too. It mostly depends on what effect I want to achieve.
