We had snow too and then the temperature dropped like a rock;) Your photos are so pretty. The dog/bone is certainly interesting. Is that an advertisement? Merry Christmas Marnie
Hi quiltcat and Marnie, I always look for that dog when we are traveling the 495 highway in Massachusetts. It's made out of korten steel and is about 16 feet tall! Don't know much else about it.
Oh, it's now Monday night and we got 2 feet of snow in Maine from Sunday's storm and it is so cold! Glad D was up for shoveling in the dark for we couldn't get in the driveway for there was a mountain of snow... you can see it in the Dec. 22 post. Happy Holidays!
I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from the pets who have touched my life, our garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more.
Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you.
