Am still in Connecticut...
late this afternoon I took a little walk and
ended up at the nearby park to look for
the ducks I had seen on Sunday.
At first I was disappointed for the pond was
empty. I waited and suddenly saw movement
and was delighted to see the duck couple!

very nice picture of Mr and Mrs Mallard!
That's a good photo, Nan. Looks like they are deciding if they want to get to the other side of the waterfall.

Hi Nan,
Thank you for your message on my blog, i am feeling much better now thank you, i just have a rash which is apparently my body telling me i had a virus and my immune system is low so im trying to boost it with vitamin c echinacea, and lots of water and veg and fruit. Fingers crossed it will go.
This is a lovely photo, they remind me of a little old couple i saw walking through the cemetry by me the other day, They look so proud it makes me giggle.
Hope your having a good day

quiltcat,
Aren't they a lovely couple!
A few years ago there was a pair of ducks that visited my parents yard daily...they'd wander over from another yard in the suburbs...my dad would leave food and water out for them.
Thanks Marnie,
I think that might have been in their mind!
Gem,
Thanks for writing...glad you're better! I thought those ducks looked like a devoted couple!
I think the ducks are having a chat, 'you go first' 'no, no, ladies first' :)
