Sunday Flowers and Drawing

"Trout Lilies"

Wandering through the garden this
time of year is full of delightful surprises.
I love to capture these moments with my
camera to work on later with my pens
and watercolors.

"Periwinkle"

Today in the studio I worked on this little
drawing/painting of a butterfly and
lilacs. Am still working on
it but brought it out and set it in the
branches of one of our lilac bushes
to photograph it! The lilacs won't
be in their full glory til probably June!

Hi Nan, I'm so glad you found me because it has enabled me to find you and I'm so glad I have. What a lovely site you have and I so admire your wonderful talent, I have always wished I could draw and do try from time to time but don't feel I have any talent whatsoever!

I have looked back through some of your older posts and your photos are lovely and I see you come from a very talented family, how lovely that they are musical.

I will be coming back very soon when I have a little more time to delve further back, and I know I won't be disappointed!
